hi everyone,
I am so so so sorry that I haven't kept everyone posted about what's going on. I should have informed all of you much earlier about what's happening. This last year has been extremely busy and stressful and I have found it hard keeping up with everything. Without going into too much detail although I love blogging, I haven't been able to keep up with commenting and announcements and will need to play catchup now. I am not going to start off the "Anything goes" challenges till Feb next year, will spend the next few months catching up with everything and will be much more organized next year to carry on with the challenges. I hope everyone understands and again I am really sorry and will try to get everything back to normal as soon as possible.
Due to running late on everything all the prizes are running late but I have done a "to do list" and will be announcing prizes etc asap as well.

3rd featured entry from Christmas is around the corner
I have to say that it was extremely difficult to choose a featured artist this fortnight, all of your creations are getting better and better and I just love the variety of all the entries. Christmas is such a special time and a handmade Christmas card/gift makes the season even more meaningful. We are getting closer to Christmas so keep those Christmas creations coming, I can't wait to see what you will all do next.
The third featured artist is ScrapEllen. I just love everything about this beautiful card. The colouring in is so lovely and the different sized snowflakes have been perfectly placed . The colour combination is not exactly traditional Christmas but goes perfectly with the overall theme, I just love this card.

Ellen has won a prize of choice up to the value of $20 at

HAZEL HARRIS
SHE IS JUST NUTS ABOUT CRAFTING
Hazel's blog's
For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in crafting of some sort or another, hence the name Craftyhazelnut! As a child I was often ill and off school, so my time was often taken up with some form of crafting – embroidery, knitting, sketching and anything that involved cutting and sticking.
As an adult, for a few years, with work commitments, etc., crafty things fell into the background a bit, but until fairly recently I always had some knitting, crocheting or cross stitching on the go.
Cross stitching is how I got into cardmaking, then I started to produce cards on the computer and then papercrafting itself about twelve years ago, mainly cardmaking, but I also do some scrapbooking, altering etc.
About 18 years ago, I early retired from teaching because of ill-health. Crafting is such a good way of relaxing and trying to forget about the aches and pains! I find that entering challenges keeps me up to date with trying new things that perhaps I wouldn’t otherwise try. I sell cards to raise money for charities – this includes Christmas cards, so I need to make a lot throughout the year, which is why I started my own Christmas challenge blog.
**************************
Firstly, I would like to thank Hazel for her ongoing support here at Just keep on creating. It's always a pleasure seeing her beautiful cards. I am always amazed at how motivated Hazel is and how she just keeps on creating although she does struggle with her health and the fact that she sells her cards to raise money for charities is truly inspirational. I am so happy that Hazel has found that crafting has kept her positive and happy though out her life, I am sure many of you would relate to this. Make sure to check out Hazel's blog My crafty outlook for lots of inspiration and make sure to enter her Christmas challenges at Craftyhazelnut's Christmas challenge

2nd featured entry from Christmas is around the corner
It's so great that you are all getting ready for Christmas, before we know it the silly season will be here. I am envious of all the people who are going to recieve your lovely Christmas creations :):). I find it inspiring going through the variety of Christmas projects, all of you are so talented and again it was a very difficult task to pick this fortnight's featured artist but it had to be done.
The second featured artist for the "Christmas is around the corner" challenge is Lis-M. I love the main image and how it stands out on the grey background with the beautiful dye cut frame. All the little details makes this the perfect Christmas card.
